THE RAINY SEASON SUCKS!

We're dead smack in the middle of rainy season here in the Bay, and it's beginning to really damper my damn days. Look at this crap! I feel like it's been raining for the last two weeks! Fog clouds, heavy rain, and humidity oh my!!! : - (

A NEW ERA OF LOVE

In two days Gibran and I will begin a very new and big stage in our relationship. As we approach the two-year mark we've decided to take a leap of faith and move in together! He's coming to Cali so we can began to truly share our life together. A lot of people keep asking me if I'm nervous, and you know what? I am not. I know him, I love him, and most importantly, I believe in us. My dad always says you never know whether something is a good or bad decision until you've made it. Until then, you have to hope, believe, and have faith in your own wishes, thoughts, and comforts. I decided a while back that I was going to live for me and only me from that point forward. We're doing exactly what "we" want to do, and the only thing we care about right now, is our absolute happiness. For us, eliminating the 3,000 miles between us is the beginning of a new era. We're thrilled about the new union, and I hope you all can share in this joy with us. In the upcoming months we're going to be picking out a new apartment, adjusting to each other's crazy schedules and learning how to share our lives with the person we love the most. Wish us luck, and as always, I will keep you posted on all the mushy details!

TONIGHT'S MENU: CHINESE ALA TONI

To celebrate the debut of the TV project that nearly stressed my girl Toni the hell out, we took her out for a nice chinese dinner after the show! Rolling seven deep, we ate, laughed, and thoroughly enjoyed a night on the Solono Strip.

I almost choked on my cranberry juice when I read Daily Candy's review of comedian Nick Adam's new book: Making Friends With Black People. Being a black himself, Nick has attempted to advise white folks all over the world on exactly how not to piss a black person off. Sounds like it's gonna be pretty damn funny. I just ordered it on Amazon.com (they've already got great used prices), and I'll post my review when I'm done with it.
