"Who you are to become, you are now becoming!" -- My Dad quoting someone I can never remember.
Welcome! My favorite things about my life are the people I meet along the way, the mistakes I make that force me to grow, and the memories and experiences that have begun to shape who I am today. I consider this blog the back window of my world. The blinds are open, if you'd like to take a peak. Enjoy, and thanks so much for coming!
CALLING ALL DEBUTANTES ACROSS THE LAND. THINKING BACK TO MY TRAINING DAYS FOR THE EMERALDY AND IVORY DEBUTANTE COATILION BALL. THIS WAS THE WAY TO SLURP YOUR MORNING FIX -- TEA COFFEE, WHATEVER!
Shout to my oldest friend, Twanna, and her new beau Chris. They're making love happen people, so all you single gals and guys, don't give up. It is out there -- when you least expect it. Wish them the best!
The bags at the Berkeley Flea Market are totally irresistable, yet somehow I managed to NOT buy one. If you've ever had an impulsive shopping addiction, you'll understand just how big that was. They were definitely within my budget, but the thing is, I didn't need one! So, I didn't buy one. I looked crazy tempted, don't I?
Why are we lookin' so good? Because we're selling ourselves as we search for a new place to live. (Booo!!) Unfortunately, we have to move, and finding a new place as good as the one we're in hasn't been easy. Actually, it hasn't been happening. We found the perfect luxury condo building, with the perfect view of Lake Merritt, and the perfect doorman, pool, and gym, but the space was no-existent. So, as happy as we were (see pic) in the lobby waiting to see it, we got shut down when we went in. SO SMALL. SO NOT realistic for two people. We'd kill each other -- and who wants that? By the way, this could be the next GAP ad.Being the loyal customers that we are, both of us are wearing our favorite GAP shirts. (Mine is new, so check it out if you want it ladies!) On second that, don't! I look too good in it to share!
